My friend invited me to join him for a late lunch. We were greeted nicely and brought to a clean booth. It was a Tuesday, so not crowded at all. The menu was easy to read with many good selections. The Baby Back Ribs were very meaty and tasty ???? (full rack just $4 more than 1/2 rack). After eating the biscuit w/ delicious butter spread plus two sides of BBQ beans and cole slaw, had plenty of ribs to bring home. Our server was friendly & accommodating. Water comes in a very large glass, so refills aren't necessary. My friend used a gift card, which created a little confusion, but it was an excellent lunch at a reasonable/high price. Good atmosphere. Worth a visit!

Sit back and I'll tell you why Lucille's Smokehouse is the best BBQ in Concord. I was coming back from Manteca, and had to take the long way back, with a pal and heard nothing but this and that about Lucille's BBQ ribs and how great they are, not those mushy over sauced and over cooked fall off the bone ribs but real honest to goodness BBQ ribs with just the right amount of smoke and the right amount of pull back when you take a bite. I surely don't know what they serve in Rib Heaven or what they look like, but these are what they serve in heavens waiting room.

Great service. Very friendly. Super good comfort food. 4 of us shared a sample platter for our appetizer and it was more than enough. My husband and I shared a wedge salad and the Texas style brisket sandwich. My nephew had the gumbo and my sister had the pulled pork. We just couldnt get over how delicious the food was. We will def be back. ????

If you want good BBQ this place is the spot. The price is pretty expensive but the portions are quite big and worth it. Although most good steakhouses aren't known for being cheap so it makes sense.

I got St Louis Rib lunch special with garlic mashed potatoes. It was delicious!! The biscuits with apple butter were incredible! I was surprised by how full I was after. It was well worth the trip and I would have expected to pay more!!

Good family dining- the wait time was a bit but I think all customers are experiencing long wait times since restaurants cant get proper staffing. Other then that our waitress was wonderful, she did forget our appetizer but she was the only one waiting 4-5 tables. She was very sweet to my daughter and gave her a slice of Watermelon at no charge. My husband had the tri tip which he loved and I had their new chimichurri sirloin. It was nicely flavored but a little more well cooked than medium. Despite the long wait, we will go again and hopefully next time have a reservation.

Perfectly good with all things considered, specifically that Lucille's is effectively a mid-tier chain restaurant. When in the mood for something yummy and satisfying -- have made many stops in to grab a meal or hold a barstool down and gaze upon whatever game is on the TVs over the bar. Portion sizes are generous across the menu in my experience. Ribs are decent and consistent. Jambalaya also another go-to item for something comforting. Biscuits are hearty and hard to resist, accompanied by whipped butter. Service is friendly -- with the giant mason jar of whatever beverage always being refilled.

We went out to eat at Lucille's barbecue in Concord, CA... we ate tri tip, macroni and cheese, mashed potatoes, vegetables and onion strings (which was extra)...it was so good..We had a very good waiter as well Julian. The seating is very comfortable and many. Lucille's serves the traditional Thanksgiving lunch/dinner with turkey, ham potatoes stuffing biscuit, and of course pumpkin pie, which we bought for my in law's, but who says we have to have that on Thanksgiving? I would take tri tip anytime....any holiday..lol

Placed an order for pick up around 4:30pm on a Sunday. When I arrived there was no hostess in the front area and there were a couple customers ahead of me. Even though I arrived on time to pick up I still had to wait 15 minutes for my order to be ready. The customers ahead of me were waiting 20+ minutes. The restaurant was not busy and I saw very minimal staff working. That being said, the food was delicious! I started with The BBQ rib tip appetizers. Good amount of food for an app and the flavor was pretty good. Then I tried the Smoked Pork Burnt End candy and I worried it would be too sweet but they had just the right amount of sweet and savory. It just kept getting better. Next I had the fried green tomato tostadas and they were amazing. Fresh, light and so flavorful. If I was rating solely on the food it would be 5 stars all the way. Based on the service I received, I had to take off at least one star though. If this place had better, prompter service, I would come here all the time. If you haven't tried them yet, I recommend a stop, but just for take out.
